To start this quest you will need to get Sam's Old Backpack that Sam lost long time ago. It's very hard to get it because it's more than extremly rare from an Orc in Orc Fortress but if you get lucky and loot it you will need to get to Sam in Thais. You can find him in north Thais, here: Kartta Talk with him like this: You: Hi Sam: Greetings, player. What do you want? You: Old Backpack Sam: Thank you very much! This brings back good old memories! Please, as a reward, travel to Kazordoon and ask my old friend Kroox to provide you a special dwarven armor. ... Sam: I will mail him about you immediately. Just tell him, his old buddy sam is sending you. Now get to Kroox in Kazordoon. You can find him below the depot in Kazordoon. Here's the location of his shop: Kartta Talk with him like this: You: Hi Kroox: Welcome to Kroox Quality Armor, player! You: Sam Send Me Kroox: Oh, so its you, he wrote me about? Sadly I have no dwarven armor in stock. But I give you the permission to retrive one from the mines. ... Kroox: The problem is, some giant spiders made the tunnels where the storage is their new home. Good luck. You will need to get Dwarven Armor from a place nearby the Crusader Helmet Quest.
